Cleveland Author Combats Bullying with ABC Affirmations Book for Children
CLEVELAND, OH (August 2025) – Luciana Adams, a Cleveland native, social worker, and behavioral health advocate, has released Faith and Elijah’s ABC Affirmation Book—a vibrant, engaging tool to teach children the alphabet while building their self-worth. Designed for early learners and families, the book uses colorful illustrations and affirmations to help children develop confidence and combat the harmful effects of bullying.
In a time where bullying and low self-esteem are rising concerns among youth, ABC Affirmations encourages children ages 3 and up to affirm their value through positive language. Each letter of the alphabet introduces a new word and phrase designed to uplift and instill self-belief. Adams, who is also the founder of the self-care organization My Favor by Faith, drew inspiration from her own children, Elijah and Faith, for the book.
According to StopBullying.gov, one in five students reports being bullied. “This book is more than just letters—it’s a movement to remind children that they matter, that they are loved, and that their voice has power,” said Adams. “I want kids to look in the mirror and say, ‘I am brave. I am kind. I am enough.’”
As a behavorial specialist with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Cleveland State University, Adams brings professional expertise and a personal mission to her work. Through My Favor by Faith, she leads programs that serve women and girls impacted by trauma, rejection, and depression—creating spaces for healing, empowerment, and community. The release of the affirmation book marks a new chapter in her ongoing effort to promote positive mental health and self-image starting at an early age.
